Creating an Account

First, open in your browser.

You should see the following screen. Before using classweb, you MUST set up an account. Click "Sign Up".

Now you see the screen below. Fill out all of the information. You should not have to change the Semester and Section field values.

Be sure to include all group members' last names in the last name field in alphabetical order, such as AndrewsBrownChaseDonaldson. It would be a good idea to include everyone's first names in the first name field as well.

When you are finished, click the "Submit" button.

You should get the notice that "The user has been added."

Now you cannot do anything until the instructor approves your account. That is to make sure lowlifes aren't setting up accounts on ISU servers. Well, unauthorized lowlifes, anyway. Bwaa haa haa!

Once I do approve your account, the next time you go to you should see the following screen.

Enter your user name and password.

You're in! You see the screen below where you can add folders and upload files following the other set of directions on the Getting Started page.
