I received my Ph.D. in Finance from Arizona State University in 2003. My research interests are in behavioral finance and empirical corporate finance. I have taught at Arizona State University, Idaho State University and Portland State University. My primary teaching experience has been in the area of corporate finance. I have taught corporate finance classes at all levels of our curriculum, namely an undergraduate introductory course, a senior course that involves case analysis, and an MBA introductory finance course. I have also contributed to our curriculum by designing and teaching both an elective course on entrepreneurial finance and an advanced-level investments class wherein the students manage a portfolio worth $50,000 (sponsored by D.A. Davidson). |
