The Master of Science in Health Informatics program at ISU has been approved for inclusion in the Western Regional Graduate Program. The WRGP allows residents of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming to enroll in the MSHI program at resident tuition rates. Students need not demonstrate financial need.
To be considered for the WRGP tuition rate, students simply apply directly to the MSHI and identify themselves as WICHE WRGP applicants. Students should also contact Weston Whitworth at email@example.com and provide their name, student ID, state of residency and degree program. The email should also indicate that the students thinks he or she qualifies for the WRGP.
This represents a tremendous opportunity for Western states to share distinctive programs (and the faculty who teach them) and build their workforce in a variety of disciplines, particularly health care.
